Cypress Gardens is owned by Land South Adventures, LLC, which is based in Mulberry, Florida. A division of Land South Holdings, LLC (LSH), LSH is a real estate investment company specializing in large land acquisitions in the southeastern United States. Since its inception in 2003, LSH has acquired several hundred thousand acres in the southern states comprising timberland, residential land, commercial properties, agricultural land and now theme park land. With significant capital available, LSH is in the enviable position to take a long view of the value of land and to have the financial flexibility to maximize its value.
Cypress Gardens is managed by Baker Leisure Group. The Orlando-based company has handled assignments ranging from the popular Coca-Cola Olympic City at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games to planning, opening and managing Al Shallal, Saudi Arabia one of the largest theme parks in the Middle East. Altogether, Baker Leisure Group has been involved with more than 100 theme parks, attractions and related assignments around the world since the firm was founded in 1988 by 40-year theme park and attractions management specialist Steve Baker.

Cypress Gardens was first opened in 1936, making it Florida’s original theme park, and today entertains close to one million guests each year.
